Nice book just got out of the print, a story about Mato Djurovic, owner of the prestigious places in Dubrovnik Area – fish restaurant Proto, bistro Orlando, both right on Dubrovnik main street Stradun. He is also the owner of beautiful restaurant Konavoski dvori, nearby Dubrovnik airport. The book is 15 x 15 cm, printed by Printera group, written by Zeljko Zutelija, great photos are done by Damir  Fabijanic and a map of Konavle is drawn by Tomislav Tomic.

This cookbook is a collection of recipes for cakes, and for fine cakes from the Austro-Hungarian era. All recipes are authentic, written down many decades ago. It is also a story about the culture of preparing desserts in a time that no longer exists, about an important segment of culinary arts, but also of the social life of that rich ancient time.

A cookbook „Jela zdrava i fina” is a part of a great project lead by Jasenka Borovcak. Kids learn how to make healthy meals and all of their recipes are published in the book. The cookbook comes with a CD, the songs kids sang and wrote lyrics for, all about the vegetables, fruits etc. Truly great project and I am proud to be part of it.
